Isn't AI costing companies more than it saves?
For a lot of them, yes. That's what the post-mortems keep finding, and it's exactly why discovery comes before any build. The projects that fail were sold as magic and never asked to pay their way. Anything I build has to earn its keep against a number you care about. Where AI doesn't fit, the recommendation is "don't", before you've spent real money rather than after.
Where do ethics come into it?
All the way through. People first means your team knows what the AI does and doesn't do, customers are never tricked into thinking they're talking to a human, no data gets used without consent, and automation takes the drudgery off your people instead of quietly replacing them. If a build can't pass those tests, I won't ship it.
Can we skip the security and privacy review to move faster?
No. That review is the process, not paperwork on top of it. It's the difference between automation you can trust and a breach with your name on it. If you're after someone who'll jump the queue and ship without it, I'm genuinely not your consultant.
